On 20 May 2026, the Annual General Meeting of Enercoop Uelzechtdall took place.
At this meeting, the annual report and the financial report were approved. In 2025, Enercoop completed the project in Helmsange and generated a total amount of 473 MWh electricity. Additionally, ECUD received a special award as part of the Solarpräis.
The Executive Committee was re-elected and expanded by two members. Roles were allocated at the committee’s first meeting. The current Executive Committee comprises Sebastian Dietz (Chair), Paul Schergen (Deputy Chair), Claude Nilles (Treasurer), Emmanuel Pfeiffenschneider (Secretary), Charel Metz, Charel Margue, Sandra Hoffmann, Elke Theiss and Liz Paulus (board members).
At the general meeting, the project for an energy community for the members of ECUD was presented. Feedback from members, provided via a questionnaire and during an online session, was very positive.
Furthermore, at an extraordinary general meeting, the ECUD statuts were updated: the address was changed, and the wording was updated and improved.
